The History of Cox & Johnson Insurance

Established in 1962 by Philip Cox, Jr., Cox & Johnson Insurance has grown to one of the premier insurance agencies in Fredericksburg. From our modest offices on William Street in downtown Fredericksburg, we serve the Fredericksburg regional area as well as the entire state of VA. Cox & Johnson Insurance is currently owned and operated by Philip Cox, Jr.'s son, Warren Cox, 28-year insurance professional, and his wife, Monica. 

The mission of Cox and Johnson is to provide a friendly atmosphere for its professional employees, and to provide the best customer service at competitive prices for all the insurance needs of individual and businesses in the areas it serves. 

Cox and Johnson is active in local and state insurance association, as well as local community organizations. Cox and Johnson received the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce's small Business of the Year award in 1997.
